The Horned One crossing through the mirror/picture/slide is a reference to John Carpenter's "Prince of Darkness" and a couple of other movies that have used the same theme.

I think this is the first strip where I've seen Scott play with light. I dig the shadows. More of that visual creativity, please!

I have to agree with Dilbert. Fantasy and reality have traded places on that slide. I have been studying accounting and know that at best revenue would increase at an increasing rate for a while and then at a decreasing rate and then drop. What that graph shows is impossible and more unlikely than most science fiction plots.
