Curation is something a museum would do. He sounds like the guy who never deletes a file and fills up hard disks.

I hate to break it to you but "Digital Media Curator" is actually a post within the Bradford Media Museum, I should know becasue I applied for the job last month, (I didn't get it) and the role involves the creastion and managment of displays and activities relating to the history of digital media.
