This reminds me of the fact that I my goals for 2011(!!) are still not defined. My manager will call me in anytime soon. I hope I'm not too inspired by Wally...

I love Wally's honesty. I wish I could do that.But, I thought the trolls were in accounting? Shouldn't the PHB be a pointy-haired devil instead? Or demon?
Or if we don't want to flirt too closely with that stuff, maybe just a pointy-haired ogre... Heck, ogre is a good pseudonym for a boss (or wife) anyway...

@wolfy4661I figure out that yearly goals are more about showing a vision of where you think your work is heading than about real goals.
No goals means no clear vision on what you are doing or what its it purpose. And, even if it turned out not to be read, the process of thinking of the goals helps you know where you want to go and where have you being.

I have said very nearly the same thing at a performance review once. lolOf course, my boss was a childhood friend and understood it was a joke. But he got his revenge, he cut my hours! hahaha
