@ Yoric: not very smart for a supervisor. Everybody around here knows most of the low paid (janitorial) jobs are held by Mexicans et al. Spanish was spoken here long before English; and the treaty of Guadalupe-Hidalgo, which put an end to the Mex-American war, stipulated that Spanish and English would have equal standing here. By the way , I am not Mexican at all; and not a historian but a mathematician. A university professor tought me all the above. And I don't care how many thumbs down I get for telling it like it is.
In this case I'm not with Dilbert on this. I hate people leaving diagrams/charts/notes in conference room whiteboards with giant letters stating "DO NOT ERASE". Why do people think others don't have anything important to discuss?! If it's that important make a slide out of it or take a picture or any of the other means that the rest of us use. </rant>
@mcbure: While I had to endure being told how stupid I was by the police, I didn't lose my job. But something incredible came out of it, it was determined upon investigation that the company that won the contract contracted it out to a third party who hired these people for way less than minimum wage, which was illegal. They were subsequently shut down. Sometimes you just have to believe in fate.
