Either Wally just let us in on his secret, he had a lobotomy, or else he is trying to trick Dilbert into one. hmmmmmmmm I have to guess its the second choice. Wally is too smart to have had a lobotomy.
Ironically it always feel like that. Things go too smoothly and you start doubting yourself for it. Usually something completely retarded happens soon afterwards; a minor thing that becomes really big because the incident was not covered up correctly.
Most of the time people are too mellow when things go too smooth. Then when something does happen they react wrongly, slaking of in the face of an incident. Before you know it a coffeespill means the breakdown of a server-rack on the other side of the office.
Ahhh...sweet memories of my interim years... how time goes by.
I don't like these feelings too. If everything goes as it supposed to go, I always feel (great) problems approaching. But if every important thing is OK, and some minor things are going wrong, I'm totally happy, because I know, that everything is fine :) (typically whole system is working fine, but log is filled with confused information - systems working this way are stable for years)
