The remaining 'profits' will go as bonus to the seven new layers of management that CEO created while doing a 'good job' at misstating financial statements.

I remember a similar discussion with a manager in a company that paid bonuses at his level.
Me: Whats this bonus scheme?
Him: If we hit our targets, a bonus gets paid to some members of staff
Me: Those members being yourself?
Him: Yes
Me: And what do I get for working harder?
Him: The satisfaction of a job well done.

Yea, because I'm in here for the love of the job and the free biscuits in client meetings. I'd do it for free if you let me.

I'm having a hard time thinking of a comment for this one, this whole concept of CEO's doing a good job is foreign to me...

Ah... but the real question is:
What does the CEO get for doing a bad job?

When you add in stock options and a sweet severance package, $50 million is a low figure.

Last panel is PHB at his finest. No surprise that he's totally wayward, but it's always interesting to see which illusion he will lend himself to next.

I expected the second panel to be: "What does he get if he does a bad job?" "A fifty million dollar bonus", but I can't think of a good punchline after that.
