Of course given the presence of an engineer in the meeting, the customer will ask questions directly to Dilbert about the product; But this product is one that has absolutely nothing to do with Dilbert... the only response Dilbert can give is the very source of where Jargon comes from, the engineer's method of lying.
Reminds me of one executive who kept me 3 hours after work on Christmas Eve just so he could tell the CEO on the other end of the phone he had a programmer in his office to verify everything he said. Since I wasn't part of the project I had no idea what he was talking about. Never even got a "Merry Christmas" out of it.
