That word has the spelling and phonics as such, to provoke me to say 'spekanize deuche?' Becasue the word has simularities and syntax simular to many german and dutch words...
Management wanted a new name for "manhole." They felt that the universally accepted name was sexist (and maybe it put too many expectations on the hole to live up to masculine stereotypes). My suggestion of "Service Hatch, Information Technology, Hole" didn't go over so well when someone explained the joke to management.
