@kaffekup, You're exactly right; it doesn't.
Really, I was just responding to tessla, who seemed to think "Off-Grid" means "in hiding from corporate lawsuits." (Employees of bankrupted companies can't be sued for that, anyhow. They're separate legal !$%*!$%*!$ from the business.)

There's probably several patents being broken right there.

Actually, EQ, I don't think "off the grid" just refers to power lines any longer. My stepkid is trying to do it in a manner that doesn't require any contact with any governmental entity (except for foodstamps, ironically). As for being a farmer, I'm sure Monsanto will make sure the grid is hooked up by the time he reaches the farm. To be truly off, one pretty much has to be a hunter-gatherer.

My company will try to patent using graphic connected lines (both straight and curved shapes) applied in contrasting color to the paper base or electronic background (on which said lines are created) in order to create common character for the purpose of information transmittal to users viewing said lines with biological optic nerves.I can't wait until everyone has to pay my company royalties on that idea!
