@rxantosI can't imagine a woman like Alice smiling... ever... well with the exception of the announcement of the death or firing of a co-worker (that causes her lots of unnecessary work) and that kind of smile really isn't attractive.

Completely lost :("Hetero" on dictionary.com means either:
1) Chemistry of or pertaining to an atom other than carbon, particularly in a cyclic compound.
2) Informal
3) Hetero***ual
Wally's smile changing Dilbert into an atom makes no sense. Also, not much sense that it will make him informal.
The third option seems like it by elimination. Or is it?
Can someone help please?

Reminds me of the (true) story of the woman who always used to visit the zoo and smile at a gorilla, because they had such a special bond. The gorilla even smiled back at her. Until one day the gorilla broke out of the cage and attacked the woman. In turned out baring your teeth is actually aggressive and challenging behaviour. (which keeps me from adding a smiley)
