Crazed Geek, et al.Ex-Yahoo boss Scott Thompson not only faked his resume but he was too stupid even to get a diploma mill diploma to back up his fake degree.
Up to about 2005ish you could purchase a "diploma" pretty easy from those businesses (with cool collegiate / university-like sounding names) until the Dept of Ed and FBI cracked down on the folks running the schemes. As it was, a bunch of low level government and military people got caught with the fake diplomas.
