The last panel clearly shows that Wally is an engineer. He is able to easily detect a potential flaw in the application. Let it be known that he has the skill, just not the drive to use it to get work done.

Hooray for Wally. Laziness may be the key to a longer life. That is, little to no stressing when confronted by the sharper edges of reality.
