dictionary.reference.com lists a couple definitions of "task" as a transitive verb.

verb (used with object)
5. to subject to severe or excessive labor or exertion; put a strain upon (powers, resources, etc.).
6. to impose a task on.

So, what the PHB is doing is multitasking, i.e., tasking Carol with multiple tasks.
Will that work?

LOL, the strip would have worked just with the first two panels, and the third is the cherry on top.

I have heard a lot about multitasking but i never got the chance to see it or experience myself. I think its a lie created to make me feel bad. :)
I am talking about human multitasking and not about any OS.
