Work is full of blood suckers, leeches and bottom feeders. Unfortunately, they seem to be the ones who get promotions and raises.

@Halmyre - the trade-show remora is a standard position on any trade-show team. There is always a sales/marketing type, possibly a tech/BA type and one other lowly employee (the remora) to cover the booth while the others schmooze, check other booths or go to seminars. The Remora also gets to tote the luggage, build the booth, fetch lunch, etc and answer any emergency support calls from the office.
