CEO's like this are the reason that the real power in the company lies within the hands of their secretaries. They are more often than not the key employees in a company. Get to know them, and let the bigwigs sit behind their desks swizzling Chivas and stare out the window. It might even be possible to get something accomplished...who knows?

CEO should have said Dilbert didn't understand crony capitalism. The elitist in business likeSolyndra do not relate to the workers or investors but rather to the government which succors them no matter how badly the business is run. Capitalism is built on risk taking and the belief
that there are rewards for risk taking. Rewards not only for the founders of the company but also for the workers who make the company succeeds. Listening to the ideas of workers contributes
to the success of a company. The concrete wall between upper management and workers has been damaging to many companies. Don't rock the boat Don't bring up new ideas or problems.
Goverment Motors GM is a example of how not to run a business with the government involved
like a puppeteer.
