ROFLMAO!!!! Oh this is too funny. Just the beginning of this month, we received a "corporate communication" email outlining corporate level restructuring, and personnel changes. One of the new corporate titles is "Director, Management of Change". It was a promotion for an imbecile that was so bad (but good friends with the CEO) at his old Job that they pretty much created this position to keep him out of trouble.
Seems more like this new director is a potential "fall guy". Any change that is implemented and successful will allow upper management to bathe themselves in glory. Any change that is implemented and fails miserably or cause untold damage to the company or its bottom line will leave all fingers pointing at the hapless 'Director of Change Management" - he'll get 'thrown under the bus' (nudge, nudge, wink, wink). Simply a C.Y.A. hire.
