Sounds like Best Buy a number of years ago. They were accused in Ohio of putting an item on sale but it turned out that only 1 store in the entire state had 1 of those items. They then would show you another more expensive model. I remember their SALES PRICE being exactly the same as their EVERYDAY PRICE. Glad I don't live in Ohio anymore.

A lot of deadpan in this strip - do you notice that? They all know the rules of the game and are doomed to play it until they retire. Honestly, Dilbert is a terrific way of preventing the office grabbing control of one's sanity.
