When I was a kid, we didn't even have binary numbers yet. just base-1, so we could only count to zero. It wasn't really even counting -- just walking around, saying "zero". Good times.
Sometimes, when you misspell a word badly, it's quicker to just delete the word and retype it.
I once worked with a guy who insisted on backspacing and deleting the incorrect letters, then typing in correct ones, so the correct letters that he had already typed "didn't go to waste".
He didn't last long.
