Alice cares not as long as her Smirnoff shooter supply in her purse holds out.

LOVE IT! LOVE IT! Long time fans of both Boardwalk Empire, and Dilbert. Volstead! That is Mint. Long time fan of Wally, but wish I could truly maintain his attitude in my industry. I would just be turfed. So sad.

Also worked for a company that did Free Beer Fridays. That was a MESSSSSSS! Interoffice gossip and inappropriate romances, huge budget problems, and one woman was sent home in an ambulance with alcohol poisoning because the "boys" dared her to keep drinking.

Hrrmmm....you could have done better, Scott. It was fine through the second panel but Im sure Im not the only one who didn't get the third. Im aware that the Volstead act refers to prohibition and Im aware of the series Boardwalk Empire refers to but never having seen it I don't get the joke.

@WyLeeCoyote:

First they came for the In-Office Child Care, and I did not speak because I had no kids.
Then they came for the gym in the basement, and I did not speak because I don't work out.
Then they came for the Free Beer Friday, and I did not speak because I don't drink beer.
Then they came for my coffee, and there was no one left to speak for me.

YOU CAN HAVE MY COFFEE MUG WHEN YOU PRY IT FROM MY COLD DEAD HANDS!!

Has Wally grown some cojones or is he channeling a caffeine rush? Probably not defending Beer Friday so much as taking a stand for all company-provided beverage service.
