If Dilbert were being paid by volume rather than time, the way private contractors are often paid, he'd get off of the twit book pretty quick.

Just noticed from the last two frames: when Dilbert is exhausted, his tie also loses its normal "perkiness".

One day last week I was making pasta, pasta sauce with tomatoes, onion and cream, maintaining user authorizations, testing them, debugging programs, calling colleagues, arranging the table, preparing salad, handling urgent requests from managers and then the kids came back from school and I was finalizing the setup of the system. Then the kids ate their Lunch and started running around the house screaming while I was hiding behind two closed doors conversing with my boss.
And that was an example for a relatively relaxed day of working from home.

I know home-office work very well. If you have your family around, this may look like this :) But in this case you'd have some private room to avoid it ;) (with lock of course) :D
