In the third panel, I think Wally is fantasizing again. No good can come of this. At least, in stand-up meetings, the CEO won't have to change seats with Dilbert again.

Am thinking the next strip-or maybe a strip next week-should feature PHB suffering through a meeting standing up. Or infuriating the underlings by sitting down and rambling on, lengthening the meeting while the underlings stand up. Don't disappoint, Scott!

Trouble being, as you stand there in front of the group talking, you don't feel tired. You are concentrating on what your are saying, not the feedback from your leg muscles.Those standing there, who have probably been standing about in their work area configuring some hardware, are getting bored with your droning on. Their concentration wanders to other things, such as their tired leg muscles.

One way to "rid" the tie is to spill coffee on it when the boss turns his head - as in Wally, frame 3.
