I served on a jury once, to do my civic duty. I'm so ashamed.

This is too true! - last week an English judge declared a retrial because the jury asked him too many stupid questions, making it clear that they had no idea what their role was. I used to think that Scott exaggerated - but reality keeps catching him up.

I once got a settlement from a class action for overcharges on my phone bill. What I got awas a 50 cent phone card that I could only use to make local calls.
