I mean people who have created large corporations from scratch, based on their own skills.
One was Den Fujita, whose name I can mention since he's no longer alive.
At that time he was one of the most influential businessmen in Japan, but when I came in for meetings to translate his material, he was always ready with pen and notebook to learn something new from this poor boy, and he always called me "sensei" (teacher).
