I had a passive-aggressive boss like that. Also a narcissic boss, who created similar situations. But passive-aggressives are masters at setting up damned-if-you-do, damned-if-you-don't scenarios.

Some people are assuming that Dilbert gets to set the budget for the project...I found this strip a bit edgier than any I've seen before. The PHB has gone from clueless to EVIL.

@hihosteverino:The scenario you describe was used a few years ago. I do not have time to research it, but as I recall the PHB was killed - I think Alice had something to do with it. The present PHB is an identical replacement originating in an alternate universe.
Does anyone else share this recollection or have time to look it up?
