I so destest lying that I never do it, even when I know the truth will get me in trouble. EXCEPT--when I worked for Hell On Earth Chartible Organization, my colleagues taught me to lie. Even when the truth was about something good, it would get you in trouble, so lying was better. You know what I discovered? People who lie all the time (not just when they work for HOECO) know other people are lying, but they never call them on it. It's like a pact, like honor among thieves. That was why lying was better.
