'It's making fun of something I just can't put my finger on it. '
cordero, he's making fun of corporate outsourcing. It may not be office culture, but it is related. That's why Dilbert is there.
Ignorance is bliss, so you must live in a lot of bliss.
If you actually looked up the issue from the start then you'd realize it all stems from an oppression of Jews by Muslims which lead to Civil War and a separation of a new Israeli state. A part of it also has to do with Jews fleeing Europe in fear of Nazi's, however Palestine doesn't get a pass here, the actions of Haj Mohammed Effendi Amin el-Husseini speak loader than words on that part considering he was a major Islamic Leader in Palestine and a close ally of Adolf Hilter.
So the UN resolved that Israel should be sanctioned as a state, Muslims in the region disagreed and waged a new war... eventually most backed down after time realizing that Israel had too many allies and too strong a resolve to back down after all the atrocities they had suffered.
So now I hope you understand the history of the situation, hatred against Jews in the Islamic world has not stopped and many residents of Palestine have continued to attack Israel for all this time since. What has changed however is Israel, it has in itself become more aggressive which is to be understood, if Mexico launched 12,000 missiles into USA targeting civilian populations would USA back down and take it? I think that's a clear no.
Now I am not saying Israel is innocent either, they target suspected military targets without care for collateral damage and they use terrorist activities in Palestine as an excuse to expand their own borders but when you get down to the real grit of the situation the original and main aggression has been Palestine whom claim to be victims and innocent what really is nothing more than a propaganda campaign, a tactic of the Nazi party.
