Alice is way off the beam on this one. The poor yob sitting there has no control over what the two companies did, and is probably grateful just to still have a job. This is like being a douchebag to the checker at Food King because you don't like their price on kumquats; front line cannon fodder have no influence on company decisions.

In his place, I would've said: "Sheesh, no wonder your firm had to get better developers- its employees can't even tell the difference between Software Engineering and Food Engineering.
