"Guessing" in itself isn't random. It includes all the unconscious stuff you may know about the situation. "Intuition" adds the personal touch -- otherwise known as wishful thinking.

What Dilbert cant put into words is that intuition (unlike guessing) comes from everything from his higher conciousness who know the whole picture to his invisible helpers on a higher vibrational reality level.
As a electronic developer and programmer myself I am proud to know this :)

fcoulter, it doesn't take intuition to know that Dogbert is always trying to screw with Dilbert; observation suffices.
