When I was a Project Manager years ago, this is reminiscent of meetings between:

Engineers/Programmers - who are extreme Introverts
and
Marketing people - who are extreme Extroverts

I thought of the Introverts as Aspergers kids, and the Extroverts as ADHD kids, and having them play together without crying and fighting was a psychological exercise. Although both have a necessary talent, each party communicates and are motivated differently thus misunderstands/irritates/mistrusts the other. As PM, you become the Shock Absorber.

When discussed, I did noticed the Introverts particularly dislike Meyers-Briggs classifications, as it accurately explains something about their personalities in a non-scientific manner that they are not predisposed to grasp. The Extroverts recognized it as fact, but would always try to use it as means of manipulation, thus exasperating misunderstandings.

Given the drift of comments, many Dilberters are likely Introverts. When you view this as a language or interface problem (what makes the Robot *click-pop-whirl* work?), it makes more sense to an Introvert.

As opposed to introversion/extroversion personalities, emotional vampires when active in
any person are quite deadly. You have a bad day, and attend a meeting. You can suck the life out of it. The person in the sales meeting is the vampire, you can feel the the life energy draining
out of you. Bad judgements happens as a result. For Dilbert to fall back on introversion as a excuse is unprofessional which for Dilbert is the norm these days. The Borg have assimilated
him except for his mouth.

Funny, I'm an introvert myself and I get the same feeling being around my coworkers.
