@ITBurnout Look busy, *Jesus, PHB, ect* is coming.

To continue the serious tone, why would any smart person stay in such an abusive environment?

Scott sure didn't......

Not to cast an overly serious tone on this comics page -- well, OK, maybe somewhat -- but stuff like this always gets me in a mindset of, "Why does everybody have to be so d@mn PRODUCTIVE all the time? Faster, faster, faster, more, more, more. Gotta keep that edge, gotta keep changing (sometimes just for change's sake), gotta put more in the pipeline. And for what, just more money? (revenue, profit, capital, growth, whatever you call it, it all just boils down to wanting more money). Can't the whole world slow down a few notches and just enjoy life a bit? (I know the unfortunate answer to that; you don't have to tell me.) Yeah, having money and "stuff" (as George Carlin called it) is fine, but it sure is far from being everything. I don't know, capitalism is fine as far as it goes and probably still trumps other systems, but anymore, it sure seems to cross that thin line into greed way too often, as far as I can see. Or maybe I'm just getting old and grumpy and looking forward to retirement... :)

That is why you inflate your estimated time for completion so that when you get it done ahead of the timeline, you look good.

Dilbert's work surface is too high or his chair is too low. Maybe this is why his tie turns up.

@Inmare: Is it wrong to call making disagreement with a too unspecific statement the acid test for stupidity, stupid? I don't think so (O:
