I never known why does etiquette require me to use big set of knives, forks and spoons, each for something else. I need to fill my stomach during a lunch break, which lasts about half an hour... Etiquette is for very rich people who don't know what to do with their time. That reminds me of one jokes about Jean, the butler. "Jean, does lemon make a funny noise?", "No Sir"... "Oh, I must have squeezed a parrot to my tea again!"...

Once again Scott sends a reader to the dictionary. In my case, it was Google with the search term "define:shiv".

Eating fast at a business lunch is not due to lack of manners. It's just best to shovel it down quick and hope it doesn't come back when the topic of the day is announced.

Desiccated crone (ohmygawd that made me laugh!) (as 'Miss Manners'?) vs Alice? Armed with a fork for lack of a shiv? Girl fight!! Girl fight!! But god help everyone if they decide to join forces! Nah, that'll never happen... Girl fight!! And my bet is that the loser will be PHB, even tho Dilbert traded places to sit between the ladies...
