Gee it would be so tempting to leave the work cell phone charger at the office on weekends, along with (inadvertently) leaving that power hungry app running.......

I work from home and the company pays for the landline and fax machine! Yet they won't pay for internet! How retro is that? 'Scuse me while I flip the cassette tape over ... I just finished listening to Side 3 of "The Last Waltz"!

I like having two phones for the simple reason that I can turn off my work phone when I don't want to be contacted by anyone from work.

I haven't had to pay a cell phone bill in over ten years. There's a plus to the work-issued phone.

The only benefit I can see for BYOD, is that if it's your personal device, the company does not own it nor its contents and therefore doesn't have the right to snoop. (Or do they, if you're using it for work?)
