In his last book, Scott tells us that "passion is !$%*!$%*!$
I really had a hard time figuring out what was cynic and what wasn't but if you think about it: Passion is a reason why people make irrational decisions (love, anyone?) so if you're goal is to make a dime, you should stick to what you're good at but not so passionate about.
(the book by the way "How to fail at almost everything and still win big". Very good read for the most part)
