this comment section doesn't handle special character particularly well, it has nothing to do with the keyboard you use. Maybe it's done on purpose to prevent code/sql injections but I can't be certain on that without seeing the underlying code.

I don't seem to be able to produce an acceptable apostrophe sign on my French keyboard (I don't know why). Maybe I should get around to twitching a finger...

I’ve always been intrigued by that finger-twitching depiction of inverted commas. I have the impression that it went massively viral in a remarkably short span of time. Does anybody have details about its origins? It’s probably one of the most powerful afflictions to hit the memosphere in recent years.
