My "favorite" piece of jargon that was popular a little while back was "low-hanging fruit." The first time I heard that, I honestly blushed. I thought the speaker had let slip a slang term for something unmentionable.
The 'babbling jargon' bit really hits home. I actually laughed out loud the first time I heard a suit (and this was a lady suit') say 'I want to be kept in the loop on this'. Her reaction was such that I stifled a giggle at her 'Carve out some time' line.
This takes me back to the good old days, when we met with stakeholders at synergy stations to discuss paradigm shifts of just-in-time deliverables within the cube-of-service model. That was when I began my journey from enthusiastic innocent to world-weary burnout. I wish that I was joking about any of it.
