Scott's ability to nail the craziness that I see so much of around the office has made reading his strip a mandatory morning ritual and it would take a lot to change that.

I really don't care if Asok is gay; I always thought that was sort of implied anyway. After yesterday's strip I thought Scott would be unloading a stockpile of funny strips about Asok's orientation he had been saving, but today's strip was disappointing. The old adage "write what you know" has brought great success to the strip, but I don't think Adams knows enough about being gay to make it funny, but time will tell.

Asok's comments about the Taj Mahal made him appear ignorant of his own cultural background, which I think is out of character for him, and in a way I think it pokes a hole in the self-righteous ambitions of the gay Asok arc.

Be gay. Be a robot. Be aliens from outer-space. But above all, please be funny.

Thank you, Scott, for making people think, as you have the last couple of days. Some seem to do it poorly. Some do not. But thank you for the challenge.

Ugh, this is getting preachy. I don't care what side of the fence you're on; keep it out of my comic strips.
