Is there any possibility that Asok knows the Taj Mahal was not built from gayness, but thinks it might be a romantic gay destination?

I know, I know, I'll give myself the first down arrow...

2.5 stars has got to be the lowest score I have ever seen.

This strip... didn't really make sense. It wasn't funny and wasn't very good.

This isn't funny or clever.

I would never boycott this strip, but for the first time I have rated this episode a single star, primarily because it was so wrong: not "politically incorrect", but just "incorrect."
I mean, India has "the scientific knowledge of inebriated astrologists…"? Gee, I guess that is why their university graduates are so underrepresented in Silicon Valley or in academia in general. Or why Asok was hired. Or how they managed to create nuclear arsenal in the first place! Yeah, superstition and pseudoscience, that’s the ticket.
And calling the Taj Mahal, that shrine to heterosexual love, "so gay"…REALLY?
BTW, I prefer to think that Asok might be expressing a political stance in his self-imposed exile, not a sexual preference. After all, isn’t the running gag of the whole strip that nearly all these geeks are asexual?
I hope Scott was taking a well-deserved vacation when this strip was thrown together by some hack.
