The only winners in this scenario, repeated endlessly (as demonstrated by many of the blogs on this cartoon), are the guys that do the shipping. They're always happy - they're not responsible for the quality of the product being shipped, they just need to get it to where it's supposed to be going. Only downside for them is if products from a company start blowing up or catching fire during shipment. On the other hand, the Elbonians aren't even that particular....
