Silly Dilbert.

The carrot is not there for you to take it. No mater how hard you jump, it will always be risen before you can reach it.

Privateer thinking does not work in the long run. You need to think like a pirate.

I am reminded of this strip (http://dilbert.com/strips/comic/2010-10-18/) and the next one. I am also a victim of this kind of camel ejecta - as was indicated, little is more infuriating.

The federal government had (and maybe still does) this plan: If too many employees reached the 'outstanding' level of a numerical production job (e.g. a certain number of cases an hour), that exceeded the predetermined number of outstanding ratings they wanted to give, they would arbitrarily raise the production level. 'Outstanding' today, presto chango 'High standards' tomorrow. Little was more infuriating. I know I looked exactly like Dilbert the first time I was a victim. Well, the only time, actually. I wasn't exactly moved to excel after that.

Wally consistently refuses work because he's "working on something else"...left unspecified. Dilbert needs to learn this, so goal accomplishment becomes moot, and secret goals are rendered impotent.....Wally for President...

If the PHB was the Wife, and Dilbert was the Husband.....

....you have the definition of a bad marriage.
