To be a Zen Master one must follow the tenets of Buddhism, and for Wally, attaining religious enlightenment would be too much like work.

But if we were discussing Taoism, the mother/father of Zen, which in its purest form has nothing to do with religion, and more specifically if we look to the Taoist concept of Wu wei: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wu_wei meaning to achieve harmony with the natural order of the universe through non-action, now THAT is Wally to a tee :)

freeway - apparently when Wally found out you could "win" at solitaire, it took all the fun out of it for him. Too much like work.

On the other hand, winning at "disrespecting authority" will always be enjoyable.
