To be cynical is to practice the philosophy of Cynicism.
"Cynicism" is a school of ancient Greek philosophy as practiced by the Cynics. For the Cynics, the purpose of life was to live in virtue, in agreement with nature. As reasoning creatures, people could gain happiness by rigorous training and by living in a way which was natural for humans, rejecting all conventional desires for wealth, power, sex, and fame. Instead, they were to lead a simple life free from all possessions. [from Wikipedia]

Since when being angry is an indicator of being wrong?
One can be very angry and still be right and one very relaxed and still be terribly wrong.
Being angry/relaxed and being right/wrong are NOT related.

And since when the perception of one person qualify as an "Accurate World View"?
Is not.
Is one person opinion based on their perception. Dilbert has being tricked on too many occasions (even by PHB). His perception of the world is anything but accurate. (otherwise he wouldn't be working at that company :) )

Only 3 persons on Dilberts universe have an accurate perception:
Wally, Dogbert and the Garbage man. The 3 choose different ways to deal with it :)

Usually the complainer is an out side vendor who has just been told his product is a waste of money. Especially when that fact is utterly true and undeniable. Unless you're getting free vacations at a Baja condo.
