@rxantos : More likely, he's still employing his night-shift manager buddy who can annoy people even when they don't ask for input :

Also, don't make the mistake of being in the office during your (unpaid) lunch time. Even though you're there all day anyway, if an idiotic boss sees you, even though you're eating a sandwich and not working because it's your lunchtime, he'll still hassle you with work crap.

I put the numbers below.... it's 10 hours a day if it includes sat/sun or 14 hours if it doesn't. 14*5=70, 12*5-60. So you'd be talking "175%".

However, that's not what they mean when they say they want you to give "110%", it's actually a concept they themselves do not understand the meaning of but what it is meant to mean is to exceed yourself which isn't something achieved by effort when it comes to a lot of engineers or IT jobs but rather by knowledge, experience and... sometimes laziness (doing things properly so you have less work later on or inventing new things so you have less work to do and things are even less likely to go wrong).

I do things on the side planning for the day I will make something to start my business and still don't put in 70 hours. Then again this is a 2~3 year plan to make a certain something!
