Why do I feel there should have been a watermark of 'NSA' on the CEOs forehead as an easter egg...

My idea is to engineer a virus that conceals itself in the optic nerves. When a camera's flash stimulates the nerves, an encoded message in the flash awakens the virus and, depending on the message, causes an image to appear in the visual field. I'm not holding my breath -- we're at least five years from anything like this, I'm sure.

Okay, guys, now STOP TRYING TO DESIGN THIS, okay? I mean really, some of you seem to be actually trying to figure out how this could work. I mean, I understand the "geek" mentality, being one myself. But still, let's try to have a LITTLE bit of thought for the social impact of some of this stuff -- count the costs. Okay?

What I'm seeing is like some guy having an idea for a bomb, made from household items, which would vaporize the Earth, deciding to build one and set it off "just to see how it would work." Hmmm. You know, I think if you took part of an old TV and....hmmm....antimatter generator....it really might work--look, I'll get back to you later. Just had an idea I need to try out...

I'm afraid the watermark would be considered a free bonus for the PH CEO. And, in time, we would all come to see it as a status symbol on our pictures.

"Tiffany? You've been looking for jewelry? You must be doing well."

I'm sure the watermark can be made invisible with some postprocessing in the camera
